About This Event

The Killara Foundation has created a free, open access Digital Community for the Victorian Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community.

On Monday night, Key note speaker Marcia Langton AO will be sharing her wisdom and knowledge, like the entire series, is open  to anyone who wishes to join us via Zoom webinar.

We have called this series of keynotes and associated yarn groups Aboriginal Australia in the 2020s: Tackling Challenges and Harnessing Opportunities in a Post Pandemic World.

We know that the global corona virus pandemic has thrown up a lot of challenges for all Australians. This is why we are using our Digital Community to address the impact it is having on Victorian Aboriginal communities. This keynote series, along with our yarning group will give our Community opportunities to talk through how people are managing. There will also be opportunities to get advice, and tap into a range of  resources that are available.

The Digital Community will run for 6 months and includes monthly keynotes, weekly yarning groups, and practical support e.g. with paying small expenses for those most in need. Please circulate this widely to your networks. We look forward to welcoming you.
