Business Administration Trainee

Working as a trainee business administrator with the Ontoit Project Team performing a variety of project administration tasks with an opportunity to learn more specialist skills dependent on your interests, strengths and aspirations. Candidate will be interested in pursuing a career in the construction sector and will be prepared to attend Construction OHS training courses as required. The role will be office based but will also involve visiting construction sites on a regular basis. This role may lead to further employment on the conclusion of the traineeship.

 

Key tasks:

To provide basic administration and systems support.

To communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.

To provide a considered response to customer enquiries, requests for service and business transactions across multiple communication channels,i ncluding Aconex.

Under supervision:

Data entry and maintenance of databases, registers, distribution lists, reporting systems and team mailboxes.

Creating and formatting standard business documents.

Administrating simple forms of contract.

Support the preparation and delivery of meetings, minutes.

Update data of records in various systems for data quality, data input and data audit purposes.

Assist in preparing reports as required.

Attend different construction sites as required to attend meetings and take status photos and assess progress against program as required.

Reading and reviewing contractor deliverables.

Assist the development of contractor deliverables schedule aligned with contract clauses.

Assist the Ontoit Project Managers in the contract administration across multiple sites.

Contract Administration training course.

Aconex training – 1 day if external, multiple days if internal

Support all other administration tasks across the team as required.

Attend weekly project team meetings and other meetings as required.

Hours:

Full time 38 hrs per week

Available for shifts between 8.30am – 5.00pm from Monday to Friday, including three hours of study time.

Flexibility with hours and start finish times for the right candidate.

 

You will be employed by BSL Given the Chance who will give you full support to help your success.

 

National Training Wage:

$18.58 per hour
