We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst for our Platform Services (

Finance) team. In this role you will work closely with various stakeholders to create

great customer experience. This role is about lead the business analysis function for

initiatives/projects, eliciting business needs and communicating these needs to agile

development teams and relevant stakeholders. 

This role is the key liaison between business subject matter experts and agile

development teams. The role contributes to refine the solution to optimally meet

business needs within known constraints (time, budget, quality, regulations, and


Some of your key responsibilities will include: - 

 Leadership of the analysis function and systems within larger

initiatives/projects to deliver enhanced customer and business outcomes.  

 Identify, understand, analyse, and communicate the customer process and

information requirements of the overall solution, through business


 Develop functional specifications, describing the process and conceptual

information requirements of a business requirement via appropriate methods,

models, and descriptions. 

 Provide analytical direction and supervision for larger pieces of work or

multiple pieces of work.  

 Review and contribute to technical design, describing the solution to fulfil

functional specification to ensure traceability to business requirements.  

 Develop cost and effort estimates on the proposed solution and analysis effort

including implementation and costs of operation, or support team estimate


 Identify and formally capture initiative/project risk and issues.  

 Contribute to the quality and completeness of test cases and other relevant


 Contribute to the quality of business requirements, ensuring all functional

specification s and non-functional requirements are defined and captured. 

This is a full-time permanent role open to candidates based in either Melbourne or




You should be a great team player with following skills and experience: - 

 Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in SAP

Finance and Insurance business process and system analysis (mandatory) 

 You need to have Insurance background.

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically

and offer solutions to complex challenges. 

 Proven experience of Data analysis and data analysis(ideal) 

 Proven experience in stakeholder management  

 Good understanding of and exposure to Agile and Waterfall approaches. 

 Professional skills with in-depth experience of developing functional and non-

functional requirements. 

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work

effectively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels. 

 Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business

Administration, or a related field.
