Pathways to Employment, a major annual grant round, is a proud partnership between the Cities of Darebin, Merri-bek and Yarra, the Inner North Community Foundation and IntoWork Australia to address disadvantage through employment opportunities in the inner north of Melbourne.

"Having supported the Pathways to Employment grants round since 2007, IntoWork re-affirmed this partnership in 2021 committing to an annual contribution of $223,000 to the Fund and additional funding that contributes to the Foundation’s core operational costs. This further strengthens the existing partnership between the five organisations and recognises the value of the Foundation’s role in funding grants which create opportunities for employment and support people to find work in the inner north."

"Each year, the Foundation provides grants of up to $20,000 to around 10 eligible organisations which support vulnerable groups in the inner north community."

Killara is excited to announce being a successful applicant for the 2025 Pathways to Employment Fund, to support our Community Outreach and Development Program. Delivered by our Community Development Officer, James Williams, a proud Yorta Yorta, Wiradjuri, Gunditjmara and Gunai Kurnai man, the program connects Mob to culturally-safe mentoring, pre-employment support, accredited training and practical workplace experiences.

We can't wait to continue delivering this vital service into 2026, meeting people where they are out in Community, and creating a safe space to access resources and relevant supports.

The article outlines significant initiatives aimed at enhancing employment opportunities, yet it prompts a deeper inquiry into the underlying social structures influencing these efforts. For instance, while the funding aims to uplift vulnerable communities, one must consider how external factors, such as access https://www.roaringmegs.co.nz/ to The Pokies and other gambling outlets, might undermine these positive strides. Are we addressing the root causes of disadvantage or merely providing temporary relief?

The article presents a compelling case for the shift towards video content in marketing, yet it raises questions about authenticity. As brands strive to engage their audience through narrative, the potential for over-saturation looms. The integration of Royal Reels https://www.tandooripalace.co.nz into branding strategies may dilute the individual identity of brands, risking the very emotional connection they seek to build. Is this method sustainable long-term?
