Find out why you should become a teacher, find a course
or learn more about opportunities for current teachers.

First Nations peoples are natural educators who have been teaching and handing down knowledge for over 65,000 years.

A clear goal of the ‘Teach the Future’ campaign has been to showcase the various pathways that are available to support diverse peoples into rewarding teaching careers that match the communities they serve.

Killara has been supporting this campaign alongside other First Nations organisations in Naarm over the last few weeks, ensuring Mob are aware of the structured mentoring and assistance provided alongside their teaching journey.

If you or someone in your network is interested in learning more about the pathways available, visit the link here https://www.vic.gov.au/become-koorie-teacher-victoria

Really inspiring to see the Teach the Future Campaign empowering First Nations educators! Highlighting pathways and mentorship like this is so important. It’s the kind of meaningful work I often follow on beforeitsnews, where community-driven stories and ideas get the attention they deserve.
